Bold, Beautiful and Brainy, the new Samsung GALAXY Note II is an Inspiration!
The much anticipated new Samsung GALAXY Note II is here. Samsung Malaysia Electronics, a leading global mobile phone provider launched the latest Samsung GALAXY Note II recently at Zebra Square. A revolution to the GALAXY Note category, the latest Samsung device enables personalized unique experiences and expressive content creations, making it the ultimate smartphone for on-the-go creativity.
The event was graced by honorary guests, partners, media, bloggers and more. Despite the rain and heavy traffic condition, everyone made their way to check out the smartphone. The night started out with the ever gorgeous Deborah Henry, playing host to the whole event.
“The GALAXY Note launched last year carved a new category of smart mobile devices, making it a milestone for Samsung. This year, we are proud to introduce the GALAXY Note II, a device infused with capabilities to help people unleash their creativity at work or at leisure,” said Mr Kwon Jae Hoon, Managing Director, Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn. Bhd.
“Built with an unbeatable viewing experience as well as unique and differentiated features, people can discover information and capture their ideas faster, express thoughts freely and manage tasks more efficiently. This device is designed to help people harness their individual creativity, allowing them to live a life extraordinary,” Kwon added.
With a wave of a wand, Mr. Kwon Jae Hoon officiate the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Note II together with Samsung’s telecommunication partners.
Then it was the product team, Colin Hew and Luke Au that gave everyone a few tricks of what the smartphone can do! Samsung has also endorsed creative artists like Adam Carruthers, Razif Hashim and Ernest Zacharevic as the GALAXY Note 2 ambassador. The three artist were there to show us what the new Samsung GALAXY NOTE II inspires them in their daily life!
Check out what Ernest Z., a Lithuania-born artist responsible for gorgeous murals, drew using the smartphone… a sketch of Deborah Henry!
This was followed by a Q&A session with Mr. Luke Au, Mr. Kwon Jae Hoon and Mr. Vincent Chong.
Following pursuit, honorary guests, telecommunication partners and Samsung’ brand ambassadors gather for photo session.
That night, Samsung generously donated four Samsung GALAXY Note II smartphones to the attendees and media. Then everyone head out to the product booth to get their first touch and experience on the smartphone!
The Samsung GALAXY Note 2 will be available in two colours, Marble White and Titanium Grey.
GALAXY Note II comes with a 5.5” HD Super AMOLED screen offers better clarity and a 16:9 screen ratio. The graphics and screen is super vibrant making the viewing experience simply mesmerizing. Its larger screen provides people an enhanced readability when consuming content as compared to its predecessor.
The new smartphone is also built thinner and lighter, making it easier for portability!
The new improvised S Pen allows users more flexibility in writing tools and note pad templates while the Air View function allow users to conveniently browse the pictures without having to open any folders without having to open a file. Quick Command allows people to use the S Pen to take shortcuts effortlessly. Easy Clip is another interesting functions where users can easily clip anything they wish with the S Pen.
Another interesting feature is the new smartphone allows several windows to be open at the same time, providing users with multitasking functions. Pop Up Note and Pop Up Video are also additional functions where a pop-up window is open anywhere on the screen, even when watching a video or taking a call.
Running on Androidtm 4.1, JellyBean platform, the smartphone is set to deliver stunning graphical capabilities! A 16GB memory option is available with an expandable micro SD memory slot. A 3,100mAh battery allows users to enjoy the smartphone whenever, wherever without suffering from power limitation.
