the year where festive merriment is near. Christmas songs are played all over
while many are planning their special festive cheer.
The
moment we walked into The Westin Kuala
Lumpur, the festive décor greets us dearly. We were here for the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony as
well as a sneak peek at the Christmas spread at The Westin KL. A beautiful
sight of gingerbread house with a Christmas tree takes limelight at the lobby,
waiting for its official light up. It was going to be a glittering New York
City theme this year.
Memories
of my yesteryear in New York flickers in my mind as I sighted the sparkly and
dreamy Grand Central gingerbread house. New York is definitely a festive sight
at this time of the year and what a treat it is to catch glimpse of the Big
Apple festive theme here in our metropolitan city.
As
guests start to arrive, the lobby was soon filled up with many all dressed to
the nines for this special celebrative occasion. The evening kicked off with
festive tunes from young carolers by the Myammar refugees with everyone
enjoying the classic Christmas songs.

Standing
15 feet high, The Westin Kuala Lumpur’s
Christmas Tree is set with artistic compilation of gift boxes and decked
with dreamy ornaments. It was certainly an unusual piece that work to the theme
of New York as the Big Apple has always been a land of dreams and art.
The
Grand Central Terminal gingerbread house was also light up in the lobby, adding
more magical snowy festive ambiance.
Garrett Popcorn also made an appearance, adding
