Link All Day Dining, Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar: Berjuadah Bersama Di Pullman

Over 150 dishes awaits at the first Buka Puasa Buffet at Link!

My final installment of places to Buka Puasa ended with a big bang at Link All Day Dining at Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar for this year. Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar prepares for the hotel’s first Buka Puasa feast with a mind-boggling choice of over 150 authentic Malay dishes at its first attempt in ensuring diners are treated with an array of mouthwatering spread.

Chef Borhan Senin and the kitchen team have whipped up secret recipes inherited from their Opah to give diners an unforgettable buka puasa this year. Besides the buffet spread at Link, there are plenty of live action stalls spread out the restaurant’s terrace, including a stall featuring unlimited portions of the King of Fruits, Durian.

Highlights of the buffet spread including a spit fire Arabic Spice Roast Lamb served with various sauces, BBQ station filled with Steak, Fish, Chicken, Satay and more.

A steaming hot Nasi Lemak Kukus dengan Ayam Goreng Berempah is one of my favorite that night. Fluffy coconut rice with spicy Sambal and a delectable piece of fried chicken is so satisfying in my books!

Someone lovingly coined this as the Volkswagen Gear Box Sup simply because he said it’s a class on its own! Whatever fancy name it takes on, the soup is simply robust and filled with a luscious aroma of spices. I am in awe of its monstrosity size…

At another corner, chefs are busy whipping up Roti Prata, Murtabak, Goreng Pisang, Nasi Goreng, Mee Goreng, Kway Teow Goreng, Jagung and Ubi Kayu Kukus and more…

A bubbling kawah holds another secret recipe of Gulai Daging to be savored with all the roti and rice available!

Lemang is also being grilled at one corner to be savored with Serunding.

If you have missed out what I had said earlier, the King of Fruits, Durian makes it presence at this buffet in full glory. Every sweat in opening the fruit has been done so one just needs to enjoy it endlessly…

Of course there are more live action stalls serving more dishes so you will need to go find out yourself else head on inside to the appetizer and hot buffet section for more dishes.

The long appetizer and cold spread includes a long list of Kerabu, Salad, Rojak Buah, Java Pecal, Pegedil, Jeruk Buah, Ikan Masin and Telur Masin and more.

The hot buffet spread features lots of Malay dishes on rotation basis. I spied the following that evening I was there… Ikan Tenggiri Goreng Bercili, Daging Masak HItam,  Dalcha Tulang Rawang, Sotong Masak  Ketumbar, Kari Daging, Kurma Itik, Petola Dengan Soo Hoon Masak Lemak and more.

There is also an Indian station, Noodle station, Sharwarma station, Chinese station and Western station.

Last but not least, the dessert station offers everyone a huge selection of beautiful and delicious desserts from Malay to international favorites. Kuih Muih, Jelly and Pudding, Kek Lapis, Raya Cookies, Chocolate Fountain, Cakes and Tarts, Ice Creams and Fruits are showcased in pretty presentation. Choosing some would be a hard decision…

Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar keeps the spirit of togetherness during the festive season by providing Solat Terawih before the feast as well as Ghazal performances throughout the dinner. The whole Kampung experience is offered at an attractive price of RM125.00nett per person only (50% discount for children between 6-12 years old).
