A township adjacent to Kota Kemuning Shah Alam, Bandar Rimbayu is a premier township development by IJM Land Berhad. Bringing nostalgia back to the community, Rimbayu is set on a gorgeous tranquil piece of 1,879 acre site filled with nature. It is a mixed development of residential, commercial, recreational and parkland components all set in a green and safe neighborhood.

The township has excellent connectivity with its strategic location accessible via 5 major highways to Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Subang, Petaling Jaya, Damansara, Puchong, Shah Alam and Klang Valley. There are four precinct in Rimbayu and one can choose from the various mixed development of Flora, Fauna, Bayu and Commercial Hub.

These four precincts captures and sustains the natural structure and landscape of the natural geography of the site. Using sustainable concepts for its built, the architectures of the homes and buildings in Rimbayu uses green elements such as sisilation roofs which will reduce the ‘heat island’ effect, rainwater harvesting for selected type of properties will be identified and installation of solar panels will also reduce the usage of electricity. There will definitely be lots of greenery and a lake to add further green elements to the whole ambiance.

Rimbayu holds many events through its development. There are always free activities set at The Arc. Currently, visit The Arc every Sunday morning for #FamilyZumbaFitness, #Stretching&Toning and #Junior Bootcamp held from 8.30am to 10.30am. It’s all about #TogetherGather with the family and friends in this neighborhood!

A recent Sunday, Rimbayu held its Together-gather Big Fun Day that host everyone’s family and friends over a Sunday filled with loads of activities for every one of all ages. I joined the rest of the public and their family and friends together with my little one for an awesome day out in the sun. The carnival kicked off early in the morning as we arrived at The Arc to meet some of our friends.

Entering Rimbayu, it was indeed a lush green property that our generation craves today with its plush green ambiance set to meet with the day’s blue sunny sky. My little one obviously had a blast from the start, exploring its various garden and other locations at the The Arc. We did our usual photo wefies before taking on a picnic at one of the area at The Arc.

It is always healthy to start the day with a healthy diet to get the creative juices flowing through the day. So if you’re planning on living at Rimbayu, pack up a picnic and spend some loving and delicious time with your family or friends on the weekend to create beautiful and precious memories on the plush land surrounding Rimbayu.

The carnival really had little ones in mind as well as adults. There were plenty of activities and games for the kids such as Water Zorb Ball, Bumper Boat, Air Shooter, Giant Inflatable, Water Fight Battle Station, Fish Scooping and more.

Clowns and even God of Prosperity was present to add more joy to the little ones as well as coloring contest to be won.

Needless to say, all the littles went wild with happiness… including mine!

We also spent some time at the Giant Bubble area where adults are turn into little ones, enjoying the bubble activities together with their kids and family. Mine had so much fun with Sam and Choi Yen that day too, all happily creating bubbles of happiness as I try to capture all these memories behind my lens.

For teenagers and adults, visit the Electric Skateboard or Hoverboard station to get a chance and try out the fun elements of this latest craze to hit our nation.

For those feeling peckish or hungry, there were also food trucks present at the carnival filled with fresh healthy food and juices to keep the adrenalin going on through the day!

Adding more merriment, there were also entertainment performances by Apple, winner of the annual ASTRO Star Quest Chinese Singing Competition 2015, Uriah See, winner of the annual ASTRO Star Quest Chinese Singing Competition 2014, and Sharon, the 1st runner up of ASTRO Classic Golden Melody Singing Competition 2013.

Besides having fun at the carnival, we visited the show houses of Wisteria by Rimbayu that day, enjoying the beautiful interiors that really showed off how beautiful living in Rimbayu can be. There are various sizes on the house design to choose from and more houses in different design will be available as the IJM Land continues on the development in Bandar Rimbayu.
